Materials & Sustainability

Our bags are made from sustainable materials including canvas (cotton/linen/hemp), jute, juco (a jute-cotton blend), upcycled denim, and handcrafted Kalamkari fabric. Each material is chosen for its eco-friendly properties and durability.
Yes — jute is fully biodegradable and requires minimal processing, causing little to no environmental damage. Canvas and khadi are also natural fibres. Our upcycled denim bags repurpose old jeans, preventing them from going to landfill.
Juco is a blend of jute and cotton. It combines jute's eco-credentials (biodegradable, renewable) with cotton's softness and printability, resulting in a bag that is both durable and ideal for customized branding.
We currently do not use leather. However, our upcoming collection will include customization options with responsibly sourced leather accents and biodegradable alternatives such as coconut leather, banana leather, and bio-leather.
Yes! All Karma Totes bags are handcrafted by skilled artisans. This ensures each piece carries unique character while supporting traditional Indian craft communities. Some collections, like Kalamkari, showcase heritage weaving and printing techniques.

Customization

Absolutely. You can choose your preferred bag style, size, and material, then upload your artwork or logo. Customization options include screen printing, digital printing, and embroidery, as well as extra features like inner pockets or zippers.
You can order a single customized bag — no bulk minimum is required for personal orders. Bulk and corporate orders are also available. Contact our support team if you would like help designing a personalized piece.

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive an email with tracking information. Use the tracking link to follow your shipment in real time.

International Orders 

Yes! We ship to all US states. Add your items to the cart, enter your US shipping address at checkout, and select from the available international shipping options. You will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched from India.
We ship to most countries worldwide, including the UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Singapore, and across Europe. If you are unsure whether we deliver to your country, reach out to us at contact@karmatotes.com before placing your order.
International deliveries typically take 7-21 business days depending on the destination country and shipping method selected. US and UK orders generally arrive within 10-14 business days. Delays can occasionally occur due to customs processing.
We use reputable international carriers to ensure safe and trackable delivery. The specific carrier for your order will be confirmed in your dispatch email along with a tracking number you can use to follow your shipment.
International orders — including those shipped to the US — may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or VAT levied by the destination country. These charges are the buyer's responsibility and are not included in the product price or shipping fee. We recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.

Yes — we handle international corporate customization orders regularly. You can choose your bag style, material, and print options, and we will ship the finished bags directly to your location. Lead times for customized international orders are typically longer, so we recommend reaching out at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
Prices on the website are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). Shopify's checkout will automatically convert and charge you in your local currency (such as USD) based on the current exchange rate. Your bank or card provider may apply a foreign transaction fee — check with them before ordering.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, first check the tracking link in your dispatch email. If the tracking shows no movement for more than 5 business days, contact us at contact@karmatotes.com with your order number and we will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

Returns & Refunds 

Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at contact@karmatotes.com. Include a description of the issue and clear photos of the damage. We will arrange a full refund or replacement for items that arrive damaged or incorrect.
Email our customer service team at contact@karmatotes.com within the return window. Once your request is reviewed, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return instructions. Please use a trackable shipping service to send items back.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., wrong or damaged item). We recommend insured, trackable postage to protect your return.
No — customized products are made specifically to your specifications and are final sale. Items showing signs of wear, misuse, or damage caused by the customer are also not eligible for return.
